Michael Sorensen was born in Santa Monica, California; but soon after his family moved to Dallas, Texas where he lived from ages 3 to 8. Eventually after his brother and sister were born, the family moved back to California. This time to Sacramento. Michael attended high school in Sacramento, then moved to Davis, CA to go to college at UC Davis.
