Hal Schaffel started his career as a lawyer and segued into show business as the Producer of the N.Y.C. radio show "Author Meet Critics". He went on to television to Produce "The Patti Page Show" and the famous "Howdy Doody" for NBC. He became Head Of Business Affairs for Screen Gems, the TV arm of Columbia Pictures.
