Hans von Morhart was one of the many German-born actors who had emigrated to the USA and who had been kept very active thanks to (or rather because of) Adolf Hitler. Indeed like many of his fellow-countrymen, he played a host of German servicemen (whether privates, guards, sentries, troopers, sub officers or officers) as well as SS or Gestapo men.
