Tamer Ciray was born in Cologne (Germany) where he began to take private piano and harmony lessons at the age of 10. In 1983, he moved to Turkey with his family and attended Mimar Sinan University Conservatory in Istanbul; from which he graduated with Bachelors Degree as a Performing Artist on his chosen Instrument, the Double-Bass.
