Gustavo Fontán was born in Bánfield, in south province of Buenos Aires, on December 24, 1960. He is a Bachelor in Literature, graduated in the Faculty of Arts of the University of Buenos Aires, and he studied Film Direction in the Center for Experimentation and Film Direction.
