Vince Russo was born in New York. Before Vince broke into the WWE, he worked for a radio station in New York City that focused on wrestling. Vince was hired by the WWE owner's wife Linda McMahon, which resulted in a job as editor for WWF Magazine. Vince was promoted to head writer in 1997.
