Richard Beattie is a Canadian writer with over twenty film, television and mini-series credits and extensive experience as a script doctor, having performed uncredited rewrites on more than twenty other features and TV shows. He won a Genie Award for his adaptation of Cold Comfort and was nominated for a WGC Screenwriting Award (Almost Heaven).
