Matt McClure was born and raised in Athens, Georgia. At a young age he found that he loved cameras and cameras loved him. By age seven, he was already appearing in print ads. As a 16-year-old he became one of the youngest actors ever accepted to the Jim Benton Acting School in Atlanta.
