Miju Ahmed was born on 17 November, 1950 in Courtpara, Kushtia, East Pakistan (now Bangladesh). His birth name was Mijanur Rahman. He was connected with theater group in Kushtia from his childhood. He debuted in the film industry through the film 'Trishna' in 1978.
