Orion Gallagher grew up primarily in El Campo, Texas. He moved to Grandview, Missouri in 1972, and then to Kansas City, Kansas the following year. It was there, at JC Harmon High School, that Orion first developed an interest in theater, working under the direction of James Sheppard. After graduating high school, Orion joined the US Navy.
