Bill Mason was born in 1929 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada as William Clifford Mason. He was a director and editor, known for Paddle to the Sea (1966), The Rise and Fall of the Great Lakes (1968) and Cry of the Wild (1973). He died on October 29, 1988 in Meech Lake, Canada.
