Lloyd Newson，Australian dancer Lloyd Newson was born in 1957. Brought up in Albury,New South Wales,he graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1978 with a degree in social work and psychology but had long wanted to pursue a career in dance and joined the Impulse Dance Theatre,touring Australia with them as both a dancer and choreographer.
