H.O. Martinek，H. Oceano Martinek born in 1877. became popular in the circus from childhood and later music hall. Handsome man who starred and directed many early silent adventure, crime, drama and comedy films, often appearing opposite his sister Ivy Martinek for the British & Colonial Film Company from 1909, his first film was a smash-hit `Her Lover`s Honour`.
