Matthew Perniciaro was born in Smithtown, New York on October 27th, 1979 and later moved with his family to Raleigh, North Carolina, where he spent the majority of his formative years and attended the Ravenscroft School. After a brief period at New York University, Perniciaro decided to move to Los Angeles and pursue his career in film.
