Jean-Noël Gobron was born on 19th January 1954 as the son of a poet and a painter. At the age of 13, he realized his first super 8 film experiments. Four years later he began working after school hours as a projectionist in a movie theatre. Not much later he left school to work in an industrial photographic studio.
