Carlos Algara graduated with a B.A. from The Technological Institute of Higher Education of Monterrey, Mexico. His first short film, El intruso (2010), was released at the 13th Shanghai Int. Film Festival and got nominated for Best Short and Best Directing. It was also selected at the 41st Int.
