Brad Saville was born in Huntington, WV in 1980. He graduated from College of Charleston, SC with a B.A. in Philosophy and a B.S. in Marine Biology in 2002. While in school, he wrote his first novel, Grotesque, which was published in 2003. In 2004, he moved to Brooklyn, founded Cadillac Films LLC, and began writing scripts.
