Christian Matzke lives and works in Portland, Maine. He was finishing a degree in Political Science when he completed his first film, Nyarlathotep (2001). As a long time fan of both films and H.P. Lovecraft it seemed natural to attempt to combine the two. Christian worked on a Lovecraftian short film by Aaron Vanek before trying his hand at it.
