Shannon Spruill，Daffney grew up in an Air Force base in Germany. Her father is now a retired Lietenant colonel, and she has lived in a suburb of Atlanta since the seventh grade. She was initially signed by WCW for a 4 week stint but impressed WCW Executives with her work and was therefore offered a long term contract which she accepted.
