Jorge Miguel Couselo was an important critic and one of the best-known historians in Argentinean cinema. He published articles in the newspapers El Mundo, La Opinión and Clarín, among other newspapers and in the magazines Leoplán and Panorama. He published books on the history of the Argentinean cinema.
